I think that the Transportation program through The Center is very vital. Letting seniors know that they have transportation to Kronkosky Place to have lunch, enjoy other activities and participate in fellowship and then return home safely is so important. I’ve been using the program for 15 to 20 years.

To schedule a ride, call 830-249-2114 at least 24 hours in advance. Trips can be booked up to
30 days in advance and are on a first come, first served basis.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The last ride cannot be scheduled later than 3:00 PM.
Ride Fares
$2 one way, $4 round trip.
Ride tickets can be purchased in advance for 5 rides ($10) or 10 rides ($20).
Step 1:
Call us at 830-249-2114. Reservations must be made by noon the day before you need to travel. You may schedule up to 30 days in advance. Please schedule your ride as early as possible as reservations are on a first come, first served basis. Upon scheduling your reservation, we will provide you with an approximate pick up time. You must schedule your return trip at the same time you schedule your initial ride.
Step 2:
Be ready to meet our driver at the agreed upon pick up location. Our driver will wait for 10 minutes after arrival. Ride payments can be made to the driver or at Kronkosky Place if that is your destination.
Other Helpful Information
Our drivers may assist with small bags and may escort passengers to and from the front door of their home or destination within reason. Drivers may also assist passengers up and down the stairs of the bus.
