The Medical Loan Closet provides access for all individuals in the community to used and new durable medical equipment for short term or long term needs.
We are so grateful for the immediate and generous help we received when my mother was experiencing some sudden health issues. We didn’t know if we needed medical equipment for short or long term usage or even exactly what might meet her needs. We were able to borrow everything necessary to make a quick transition and help her to adapt to the physical limitations she was experiencing. You filled a number of our needs and helped us in a difficult time and we don’t know what we would’ve done without your services, sensitivity and understanding of such moments in life.

It is best to contact us at 830-249-2114 or info@thecenterboerne.org before stopping by to ensure that what you need is available. All equipment is loaned out for a $20 processing fee per loan occasion and can be picked up by you or a family member on your behalf.
Tell Us What You Need
If we have it, you can pick it up during our hours of operation
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
If we don’t have it, we’ll keep your name and number and call you when the item you requested is donated.
Pick It Up
Items are located at Kronkosky Place, 17 San Antonio Road, Boerne, TX 78006. When you arrive, please see the receptionist at the front desk. Items may be loaned for as long as needed. We kindly request that items are brought back when finished so they can be re-loaned.
Without donors, we could not provide this service. The Center is happy to accept your donations of both durable medical equipment and disposable adult undergarments during our hours of operation.
PLEASE NOTE
We are not able to accept the following items:
- Power chairs and scooters
- Lift chairs
- Hospital beds
- Hoyer lifts
- Items that require a prescription
