The Center Partners

The Center Partners is a dedicated group of philanthropic leaders whose collective vision ensures the long-term sustainability of The Center’s mission. Members make a 3-year financial commitment to strengthen our ability to support aging adults in our community, especially as traditional funding sources face uncertainty.

Joining The Center Partners provides donors the opportunity to create financial stability for The Center, enabling us to:

  • Bridge Gaps in Essential Services: Address funding shortfalls to ensure no aging adult goes hungry or lacks vital support like Meals on Wheels or caregiver resources.
  • Innovate and Expand Programs: Enhance wellness and nutrition offerings, modernize facilities, and meet the evolving needs of aging adults with engaging, meaningful opportunities.
  • Foster Dignity and Independence: Provide personalized services, and community connections that allow aging adults to thrive in place and with purpose.

Engagement Events for The Center Partners

Strengthening Partnerships (January–March)

  • Annual Report Meeting – March: Attend an exclusive presentation by The Center’s leadership, highlighting the impact of your support. This interactive session reinforces the concept of partnership, featuring firsthand accounts from those directly benefiting from The Center’s programs. Members will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A with the CEO and share input on future initiatives.

Inviting Advocacy Through Engagement (April–June)

  • Week of Custom Tours: Partners and their guests are invited to exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours led by The Center’s CEO. These tours will showcase the day-to-day impact of The Center’s work, from Meals on Wheels operations to vibrant activities at Kronkosky Place. Partners will be encouraged to bring colleagues, friends, or family who may be inspired to join or support our mission.

Experiencing Impact Firsthand (July–September)

  • Meals on Wheels Ride-Alongs – September 15–19: Gain an intimate understanding of the life-changing impact of our programs by joining volunteers on Meals on Wheels deliveries. Witness the gratitude of those served, and see how your support directly combats food insecurity and isolation. This activity culminates in alignment with San Antonio’s Big Give, emphasizing the importance of community-wide support.

Building Community Awareness (October–December)

  • Weihnachts Parade – December 6th: Experience the joy of a cherished Boerne tradition alongside The Center’s team. Partners are invited to join as special ambassadors for The Center, decorating and walking alongside our float, helping to bring awareness to our mission while engaging with the broader community.

Why This Matters

The Center Partners is more than a giving society—it is a partnership that creates a lasting impact. By participating in exclusive opportunities to engage with our mission, members deepen their connection to The Center, become stronger advocates for aging adults in our community, and help shape a future where no one feels forgotten.

Together, we can ensure that aging adults in Kendall County thrive with dignity, purpose, and connection.
